I hope the story will have more of this, and less moping going forwards. You worry too much about making him seem less competent, and in need of growth than a story like this needs. He already has obstacles to take care of creating those pressures.

in that case I hope you remove that 2 personality in one body BS the Mc should always be a dovah or not at all, I felt like I was reading Tsuna sawada all over again, stupid sawada with bullets that change personalities (also will Mc have Skyrim magic? or at least scrolls of them?)
