Well it's better to understand what your actually reading yes, and that is just one of the many things. His parents can put a million for academy, but dont have enought to live for themselves, causing the death of the rest of his family. We often see authors using the "mysterious reason" card to justify shaky writing and it's seriously becoming old. Since ur inviting me to drop it, i'll exactly do so.

S rank growing skill for a F rank quest ... What is he supposed to gain from S rank quest ? ZZZ+ ultra super duper mythic?.. Nonsense rly... And 500 gold from doing errands lv1~3 for just a bit? What about when everyone is high level? They can all gain billions from high end quest ?.. One of the key of games is balance... Makes no sense so far.

Yeah but i mean, a shelter can't work without water in the first place, the location is the most important, defensive situation, natural ressources ... With such a bad start, how is the MC supposed to stand out? It's like starting with a crippled leg from the get go. Your synopsis hooked me, but the story feel very plain so far :s

Yeah that's what happend when u place ur shelter away from a water source... This doesn't feel like the MC of a story, more like a random side character that is meant to die early because of cheer stupidity...
