Binging right now but commenting once again that the author feels like he wants his cake and eat it too when it comes to the two stories. If he wants to follow the original manga as it updates, there will eventually come a point when it contradicts his own setting. The awakening being a potential plot hole with no current explanation in the original manga but has the possibility in the future
