She is such a good writer! Even though I know Riftan must survive, since the book isn't anywhere near finished, I found myself at the edge of my seat, frantically reading to see Riftan again. I how the author got awards for this book because it deserves it!

I love the flow of the chapters. Not hurried but at the same time, it is building up in a nice way. Finally Riftan is back!

Ahhh it's so good! I love this story!

This chapter really played with my blood pressure. For a moment I felt excited at reading Riftan’s plan to infiltrate the city of monster worked out just fine. But then I was anxious when the monster and the army were in the middle of the attack and then realizing all the damage done to the camp and then POOM! The coalition army claims victory, which I find it hard to believe because imo war was way short so I think it’s not all over yet. And then, the reunion of Maxi and Riftan felt like an unbelievable relief. Anyway this is how I feel after reading this chapter ⬇️

I was really hoping for max to use the magic stone ruth gave her to power a bunch of gollums to knock the city walls down & save the day!! 😭😭

Maxi is so small and fast that no RDK can run after her 😁 Usileon get her out of the battlefield only to lose her in the camp, and Garrow saved her from the goblin only for her to run away to the city gates. Only Riftan has the 7th sense for her. I’m glad everything is alright now (even if for the short period of time). Let’s cuddle a little and back to work - it’s not over yet.

That was a great chapter 😭 now can we please get some lovey dovey scenes please? We deserve it! Ugh but now the wait to the next chapter….

Riftan don't worry Maxi is okay and please don't be anymore cold to your wife, while you were away, she was always thinks about you and was heck of worried about and just wanted to know you were okay and is because of you why she made it through this war.
