Riftan knows the duke well 🤣🤣 he knew the man would spout a load of BS. This is why he has kept silent. Let the delusional duke speak first and then counter his claims. I can't believe the duke can lie so easily. Or maybe he convinced himself that the scenario he made up in his head is the truth? Duke your the one who refused to listen to either party. You didn't listen to Maxi who said Riftan wouldn't divorce her and you didn't even ask Riftan why he wanted to see Maxi. If you voiced your concern that your upset thinking he may divorce her. Riftan would have told you straight. But no, you just sent him away with a lie. Your the one who caused this situation so take responsibility as a so called duke.
Nice to see Croyso stutter. Of course Croyso wants Riftan stripped of everything. He had no hesitation in lying to get what he wants. At least Maxi did not falter in her recount of the event and studdered less than her father! Maxi needs to say more on what transpired. And that she was whipped for defending her husband's honor. I am happy Ursuline was the first to argue on behalf of Riftan. The royal family knows him, after all he plegged to Princess Agnes. He's been chomping at the bit for retribution since that night.
