Riftan was so sweet and finally he showed some compassion and listened to Maxi. And he believed it!! He seemed sceptical and surprised but a little bit convinced when she said she would worry for him 🤭🤭💗💗 I really hope Maxi finds some friends there! They said the war would take quite some time so I really pray for her character stabilising with some nice friends and comrades in agony. 💘❤️❤️❤️

Such an emotional chapter 🥲, I’m glad Riftan showed Maxi that he did care a proper goodbye and his feeling about leaving her was also breaking his heart 💔. I think Sir Hebaron must have said something to Riftan about how cold he was when saying goodbye to Maxi or that if he will regret saying a proper goodbye to her seeing how anxious she must have looked in Sir Hebaron eyes. What new things will Maxi learn or do in her time, I wonder 🤔🧐, I know she might be still trying to adjust there plus her worries about Riftan and the knigts are not helping but I hope she has faith in them they will come back.

the goodbye scene was excellent. I was so annoyed with riftan at the end of the last chapter. at least he redeemed himself before leaving.

I wish I had a map of the land. It's getti g harder and harder for me to imagine where everything is.

This chapter was just awesome. He went back.. to say proper goodbye.. and even none of them said it out loud but they tried to express theor emotions... This is the best book I have ever read.

I love how their relationship is developing, how Riftan is opening up and how Maxi is also discovering her own strength. Can’t wait for the nex chapterst😍
