This was a bittersweet moment and highlight of UTOT imo, the farewell scene between Maxi and Kuahel. They had an interesting friendship imo. Only Maxi could bring a smile to Kuahel (last paragraph), and I guess unknown to “reckless” Maxi, Kuahel was making their farewell moments less sorrowful by turning their conversation into a banter. Certainly hopes to read POV from Kuahel, his “willingness” to help and save lady Calypse in the right time of troubles and even Riftan had trusted him as well.

Yes I did for 35 gems which is less than 2 dollars (if I remember right) for rest of chapters. Technically they are free because Manta reimbursed back that 35 gems into my account so I may use it to read other novels.
