The misconceptions that they have for each other is so sad yet leaves so much for them to discover - hopefully soon. Her inner monologue is interesting and consistent. I like that she’s finding her feet, slowly. And he is learning yet more patience.

Just a tad disappointed that this translation doesn’t go into the marvel that Max has for magic early on.
