I have never understooD why authors write unreasonable events and generic tropes. Just this chapter probably scared away a lot of potential readers.

This story already makes no sense. The MC has inherited land from his parents (along with debt) and he wasn't even told where it is if the legal system is this dysfunctional the apocalypse is a good thing. The company he works in is poorly managed despite being one of the most successful growing companies and the boss would get sued for what she said in a lot of western country's. I'm not even going into the MC but briefly seems to have poor social skills and is just generally incompitant. So far even with low expectations (from the title), I'm disappointed. Hoping for character development and less plot holes as we go, both of which are rare on this site.

If any sane person has loan sharks coming for debt of the dead then its easy to go to court and find these documents which would have had to been authenticated. Also would check laws on debt transference. No location of property would be a big red flag. Said mc was smart but this doesn't show it. After getting harassed by supervisor for job and being the team leader I would no longer accept "advice" from my team that kept getting me in trouble. Quick fix especially in the work world.

Leaving aside the common tropes that can be read between the lines like "everyone is out to get you" and "everyone is the enemy, you can only count on yourself" as this is China's national policy of divide and conquer and now publicized work can escape it... the 1st chapter left me quite perplexed as to the lack of common sense. One of them was about that contract. He said he recognized their signature?!?! how about their full names, national ID info as well as, this being a contract and all, the full info of the assets for which the loan was taken for... this author has a fluent and enjoyable way of writing, smooth talker too. It would be ashamed to lose this to some common sense issues. to the Author: Dude you most likely don't lack this knowledge, please just pay more attention to this kind of details, they are in no way of inferior importance to having a fluent and enjoyable read interaction wise
