I don't understand how she comes to the conclusion that he shouldn't be mad. He was beaten at school because of her. She also tries to read his mind, which is just plain rude and he obviously doesn't want his name out there, but she tries to say it right away anyway. is she stupid what did she think what would happen if someone did that to her she would be mad at that person too.
