Its very depressing how little teaching the MC gets. The pathfinder only teaching him the spear stance is already equal to what his master taught him, which was when they first met and he told him he was too focused on hitting the same spot on the pillar. I would really like to see the MC finally get some proper education. Its really ridiculous how he’s at the 7th stage of cultivation and still knows next to nothing about fighting techniques or really about anything. The MC knows so little about the world. I think its kind of a weakness of the novel at this point. There should be a lot more world building and information presented. Even as a reader I’m completely in the dark about so much even after 110+ chapters. Everything is kept so vague or hidden and it doesn’t make sense. Why would disciples not be educated at all? They are supposed to be the future of the sect.
