Sure. However, the whole problem here is that Sol WAS immature and weak and needed protection. Camelia is much stronger, older, and wiser and was absolutely in a position to do what she did for Sol at the time. To be mad at her for doing that is genuinely projecting his insecurities of wanting to be a "big boy" onto her. It's real teenage boy protagonist syndrome energy.
