I'm surprised he never brought up who his father is as a reason for declining. Seems like having a Zechs as a father; would make him a bit of a hot potato politically- Considering the Shinto have nobody in the top 10; which Zechs is on the higher end of now. Also her threats are basically empty. Even if she did succeed in killing him; which is unlikely since he'd just use juggernaut drive if needed- Her entire Pantheon would end up in a war with the devils; with Sirzech's spearheading it. Well if that did happen; I'd really feel bad for Izanami. It would really suck to have your daughter kill a good friend; only to have his father come at your entire family for vengeance.
