Isnt the overall power level completely messed up? You know the mc trained with Scathach’s main body and is fairly powerful but here he struggles to take on a servant. A servant only has a fraction of the heroic spirits power while Scathach should be many times stronger than your avarage heroic spirit. Just wondering since if servants are this powerful wont heroic spirits be on the level of UO’s ophis great red and them? …

I am curious though. How come the mc doesn’t know about the priest or the great holy grail war in general? He used to be Zelretch, surely he should have seen the war with his keliodoscope? I mean he can even know about Issei but he doesn’t know about the war that happens in his own universe?

Author I can't help but think you are downplaying primordial runes. To see how powerful they are you just need to look at Skadi. With these runes, she can employ numerous spells including a divine curse capable of rendering both Napoleon and Mash inert without them being able to lift a single finger. I repeat paralyzing a heroic spirit with magic resistance. Both Surtr and Skadi could also inscribe a primordial rune of death, which is said to bring inescapable death to any living being. Just because Will has something that allows him to be lighting incarnate does not mean he has reached that level yet. Plus the spell maker could not under stand the speed of lighting and just thought because of the greater control of lighting they were the incarnation of it.
