Cool and all, but I'm still absolutely abhorring Rin and Saber's presence here. These vulnerable secrets, all blurted out in the open, the MC and Kischur's dialogue broken by Rin's "explain this to me (and the readers)" injections, I really dislike it. Rin and Saber will probably be some sort of maybe companions in the Fate travels, but I still don't like their presence right here, right now. I don't have any issues with the plot, reveals or direction (other that than TYPEs never live up to the hype, or that protagonists always beat them in the end, and there's always Grain), but Rin's presence is just really grating to me.
I don't understand why they put so much effort into defeating Type-mercury when it wakes up humanity has already been doomed after all the steelland survivors don't even qualify as human the true humans won't adapt the only survivors are genetically engineered species whose majority does not have a remotely human appearance in fact they will go to war with the last human survivors the only viable solution seems to be to completely avoid the promised time through actions that could allow the coexistence of humanity and the planet I know it doesn't look so cool compared to fighting an immortal alien that distorts reality but works
