Bballguru:Chinese education system is actually quite weird because their secondary education consist three years in junior middle school and three years more in senior middle school. So basically, he is a senior middle school student( which in other parts of the world would consider him a first year freshman). Which is why their school is called Yuyang Seventh Middle School. ( I use high schooler because it is much more globally used.)
