Just your average otaku. I'd rather stay in bed and read novels all day than go out and experience the world.

The constant back and forth between past- and present tense makes it really hard to read and follow the story. Author, if you ever find the time (and energy) to proofread and update your chapters, it would make the reading experience so much more pleasant.
It started out so good, but then it just became drama, upon drama, upon drama after chapter 79. The story stops being about animals and instead gets replaced by cliché conflicts and drama where the FL constantly has to defend herself from scheming bitches and clear her name to the mindless netizens. The only reason why the score is 3.8 is because of the translation quality and the stability of updates; if not for them the score would have been 3.
WARNING! Don't pay for this chapter! It's just an update and self-promotion for a new book by the author.
I know it's still a bit too early to write a review, but I just had to nevertheless, because this novel is straight out the twin to "Treasure Hunt Tycoon" with all the racism and the MC's ability to find treasures among junk and roaming around people with lack of a moral compass. I more or less enjoyed "THT", despite all the racism and the discrimination, thus I'm looking forward to this one.
Jonas has a very misplaced feeling of survivor's guilt and is not thinking straight at all. His selfishness will surely ruin everything and then he'll victimize himself even more afterwards when the one who'll lose the most is Jenna. Tch tch, what a selfish and childish twin.
Dear author, you've mistaken 'beta' and 'omega'. The reason why 'beta' should be "ordinary people" is because it's the second letter in the Greek alphabet, thus number two after 'alpha', which is the first letter. 'Omega' on the other hand is the very last letter in the alphabet, which is why it has become the designated letter for weak characters and contrasts with 'alpha'.
Finally, a novel where the roles are reversed!😂👍🏻
How about some proofreading every now and then? It's really confusing and annoying that the characters' names keep getting switched.
The novel started out strong but later the author kind of forgot all about interpersonal development and instead got lost in all the (filler) crimes that the MC/FL and ML runs around solving. As such, my overall impression of the novel falls kind of flat and I've discontinued my reading due to boredom. Still, the novel gets almost four stars in total score, but that's mostly thanks to the translation quality and the updates.
(Novel complete) First of all, it's a good novel, not great, but good. The reason why I didn't give the novel a higher score is that the author lost her way in the storyline and development after Xiaolu's trip to the desert. There were of course good chapters in between, but most of them were fillers that didn't bring the story forward or did it justice. Major characters were either forgotten or barely mentioned again, insignificant filler characters took up a lot of the chapters and the romance between the MC and ML just fell flat and basically through the crack after endless chapters of romantic anticipation. I applaud the author for not giving up the novel, I really do (though the last 200 chapters or so sure felt like it). But I feel somewhat indignant and frustrated in regard to the ending; the entire novel was like peak, peak, peak, boom, flat...- kind of feeling.
It's actually not a bad novel at all, but my god it's long-winded! I'm over 200 chapters into the story, but a lot of the chapters feel like fillers with a lot of unnecessary drama. The author uses several chapters every time to explain some kind of face-slapping situation. I don't know, sometimes I feel like giving up the novel.🤔
Scene -->: Yuchi Xiu reminds his lord that he needs to stay chasted, which doesn't sit well with Wei Ting but nevertheless he stops whatever he's about to (perhaps) do. Later in the night, Wei Ting snatches Xiaoxiao's blanket, thus Xiaoxiao is subconsciously forced to seek warmth with Wei Ting because she feels cold. Result -->: Close and intimate (but innocent) body-to-body contact. Wei Ting, you naughty dog. What a hypocrite little tsundere.😂
