thanks for the chap. i kinda dislike his attitude there. being lazy for not gaining strength. we know that dxd is a world where the strong eats the weak and also dangerous. since he can create things. he can create a device that can cleanse his bloodline and increase its concentration. by doing this he can awaken his power of destruction of the bael or the gremory family brand of magic. the only reason why rias is called genius because of the power of destruction and large amount of demonic powers. after all to the devils. their abilities came from their bloodline are their pride. its shows their pedigree and more. so for me gaining strength is first. so that he will not need to compromise on deals that others will take advantage of his creations. like what his so called father did. so that he will not play on their ploys that will be a disadvantage to him or him playing on their palms. about the bloodline thing. he can also take the characteristics of the other species like the dragons their strong bodies and magical prowess, the youkais that can use senjutsu and its deriviative abilities like touki. by doing this he can remove the devils weakness to light or holy power or may be the limitations placed on their specie and make himself perfect.
