this is stupid low key. why can't an mc be nonchalant but honest. just stand up and admit that you broke through but don't make a big deal out of it. if you aren't competitive others will still underestimate you. and by honest I don't mean stupidly honest and blurting out everything, just the things that can be found out easily.
why did the Mc even enter the academy? in the beginning didn't he say that he was testing to be a Beastmaster,then next day he joins the academy and was put into the martial class or something as we haven't seen/learned the difference between martial and beastmaster . all to learn nothing as he skips all the class.
honestly i don't see why mc needs to go to school, it's not like he learned anything in it himself, and i think he didn't spend more than 5 min and then he went to cultivate in isolation and do a million other things, the only thing the school did was arrange a competition among the students, a grandmaster's super lecture was simply telling the students that talent isn't everything, and that's it. I mean there is no longer any kind of knowledge that the school can pass on to students?? I'm not even talking about history, geography and math, but knowledge about herbs and materials that help in cultivation, something magical like that that helps give depth to the story
