And a mercenary that's trying to justify killing people for money is good because he doesn't harm innocents is a funny thing , I think you wanted to make s Slade in marvel. Also this whole arc was to set-up gor the MC to be involved in the avengers infinity and later plotlines , so he had to be tricked by a simple thing.
