I would guess that the divide between Chapter 1 and 2 of Phychic parasite hurt the view count hard, the author was expecting people making donations to his patron for the second entry but it was barely something. Now he is in a crossroad between he likes the story / is not profitable / is dificult to not put a hold in a years long world building (that is putting my L hat and throwing assumptions, take it with a grain of salt) all those things made reasonable a hiatus even a drop, wish is painfull and reasonable
