honestly I hope loki and the mc reconcile but considering the authors hate for certain characters like Charles and Scott I doubt it finger crossed tho. While mc is justified in his dislike for loki he refuses to give him a chance or even show him the error of his ways

so we are getting a loki character development or power development,,,, as you like
