Nobody in real conversation would ever shorten Osan Woods Butcher to OWB, that would be like shortening Mount Everest climber to MEC which isn't something native English speakers do. I overall enjoy the flow of the story but the weird abbreviations and song quotes at the end of the chapters throw off the tone and feel so much it just takes me out of it...
