The chapter got the point across well, even diving into the ambiguous moral dilemma that can be created in situations like this. However, like an earlier comment stated the MC talks too much in this chapter. I feel that as intelligent as Nina is she would find the MC's understanding of the concepts he put forth a little weird, as he is supposed to have "just awakened" to these urges. Maybe instead of the MC going on a rant have some back and forth between the characters.
