The dialogues are large rants or lectures. Its honestly a big turn off to read it. I find myself skipping most of it because its meaningless banter.

I prefer this kind of MC. but maybe he can use better plan next time. of course, killing the potential problem is make sense though

Too much monologue. Also he could have let Dom sleep, bond slime, come back to end things easy.

Since the goal was Dom's slime, I understand him dying to get it. However, Elena's death was both pointless a potentially dangerous. She was asleep. She would have helped prove his story about Dom going back into the cave alone, and thus explain his disappearance easily. Now there's two missing people and he was seen going with one of them. He will have to make a story up about this whole thing and it will be questionable. After all, the longer a lie, the more its likely to have holes.

Why did he awake Dom knowing that he won't be able to kill him? instead of just going deeper into the cave, getting the demon slime and then killing him with the slime? No way that Dom would wake up anytime soon, considering how tired he must have been after everything.

I love the mc's monologs tbh
