My only question is how fast you plan to end it? because stuff like the falmer and snow elves and other mid sized plot points seems to lose relevance when your so near the final act of the story IE - WE FOUGHT AND LOST TO ALDUIN- WERE PLANNING TO FIGHT HIM AGAIN BETTER THIS TIME- we cured the falmer- WE CAPTURED A DRAGON, WE FOUGHT AND NARROWLY BEAT ALDUIN WE FOUGHT AND KILLED HARKON THE END Figured I’d ask cause it doesn’t seem like it fits and other middling plot points will kinda face the same problem at this point Other than that awesome story and thanks for writing
I remember reading a theory that said that the Dwemer not only physically deteriorated Snow Elves to become Falmer, but deteriorated their souls as well. The evidence is that while in the game all 'people' have black souls, the Falmer who technically should be people but fallen have lesser souls or common souls I don't remember exactly. I think it's a pretty interesting idea to use in the story if you want to.
Just rewatched the marvel what if and had an idea. If you can absorb some power from dragons, then you can certainly do it from Dremora. You now have a book about everything conjuration so id imagine you could set up a protection barrier and start summoning, then start eating the souls. Course you would only be able to do so many before the princes get annoyed and stop sending you any. but a few offerings to sanguine to get more probably wouldn't hurt to bad. Just a thought. if your already offering Harkon to him might as well get his followers as well. your facing Alduin so you would need to get more power id imagine.
