Thanks for the chapter. But if this is original please think about dual wielding spears/… again. It realy will break emergine if you frame it as great without downsides. Because it has uncountable ones and is simply worse then just using on spear or a spear and a shield. Just because you give someone two weapons it doesn’t make them better. For example will his one handed spear be constantly sweapt aside by his enemys because even if they are way stronger one hand is still weaker then two and furthermore the leverage of the length of a spear also still exists….

No I haven’t read RRR before so I was not aware of this. Two helbards just struck be as quite odd and impractical. And since I didn’t know there were already a fair share of such comments in RRR I just commented on It. Anyway it’s your story so in the end its your decision to make him fight with whatever you want. I might have my comments about it but I hope they are not sean as offense since they are not intended this way.

Awespec:this is the one and only time I will respond to a dual polearm wielding complaint comment. I've received too many while writing RRR, now turned GAB. 1. If this is what breaks your immersion, I really don't know how you've read fiction novels until now 2. The narrative already makes it clear that it will be difficult. This is a fantasy novel where people cultivate to become immortals, I fail to understand how adding just one more thing us mere mortals find impossible to do makes or breaks anything 3. One hand is weaker than two applies to all weapons, even one handed ones. I can't tell you how many times I've seen this comment. Ryu could be wielding a dagger and would still only be able to apply the most strength if he uses two hands. You'll always have more leverage with two hands even even if you have to overlap them, this is simple logic. 4. Ryu's Ice Crystal Jade constitution is quite literally created to ignore all of problems you've mentioned. It's a constitution created for dual weapon wielders. I'm fairly certain that I mention his ability to apply great strength at odd angles precisely due to this constitution many times -- just unfortunate that I can't remember where since this is a re write. And even then, he still acknowledges just how difficult it will be. If this is really so make or break for you, it's not like this comment will change your mind. I'm aware of this which is why I've tried my best to ignore all comments related to this topic previously. But, in the small likelihood that it can change someone else's mind, I've still chosen to write it. Anyway, I'm not really mad at you. Hope this didn't come off like that. Take this as built up frustration that's been accumulating for years. Judging by your comment, you read RRR originally and are now reading it again, so you're probably aware of this.

Great attention to detail. Although I hope this author maintains consistent characterisation. All actions have consequences. Ignoring the experiences of the protagonist - forcing them to remain in a static state is the worst mistake any author could ever make.
