Even Laura didn't mind the hug and simply smiled after they finished. Before they could continue their conversation a large portal seemed to open up in front of the group that had been waiting. On the other side Joshua could see a plain filed with grass and a wide open area that was probably a simple starting ground for them to go to. "Well looks like your gate is here. I’m actually disappointed. It seams the apocalypse is over. Otherwise Guilds would newer be able to form(they need stability and a monetary system to work). In an Apocalypse where the peoples first need is survival strongholds would be the natural thing. Also noone could just decide not to Level up because the standing in the world would entirely really on ones personal strength.
"Then I guess you will probably set up another gym? It would be good for all the people that plan to go out into the new world that don't have much actual experience with fighting. You can even use the fact that you trained the number one ranker for the first phase as a selling point if you want. I'm sure the system will have several roles for people that don't actually want to go out fighting, otherwise there wouldn't be any support classes." They all got prepared as Natalie knocked an arrow and set it on fire waiting for the right time to shoot. It didn't take long for several of the orbs of gas to crash into the ground just outside of town. Luckily for them they didn't land ahead of the traps otherwise a lot of their work would have been wasted. When the haze dissipated a bit, several enraged creatures ran out towards them. Unlike the creatures from before that would only shamble forward and lunge at you when they got close enough these ones ran on all fours like animals with their mouths wide open preparing to bite at any moment. They were able to survive being outside the purple haze sense their bodies were still covered in a small shroud of mist from the balls of gas they came out of. Natalie, wasn't sure if they would be able to stay outside of the haze for long, but she didn't have the time to wait and find out. - Benno2yrCommented
You nearly had me there I was about to coment since again but this time sense is actually correct xD
Soon after the feeling crept over the entire group they were able to watch as an enormous figure stood up and towered over the haze below. More of the mist seemed to shroud its body a bit as it raised up, but they could still clearly make out its figure. The only word that came to Natalie's mind to describe it was demonic. The sense of dread seemed to grow as the creature let out an infuriated roar before looking back down towards the people who tried to hurt it. - Benno2yrCommented

Just as she was about to ask how things looked through the mental link the air around them seemed to cause everyone to shudder and a feeling she hoped she wouldn't have to deal with again washed over her. It was similar to back at the factory, but not quite as bad sense they were so far away, but that wouldn't be the case for her friends who were now face to face with the monstrosity. - Benno2yrCommented

"For the most part whenever we're dealing with an unknown we usually proceed this way. We have to be careful sense we don't know what are target is capable of." Natalie responded. "Back at the factory things nearly went bad because we were surprised at how sturdy the creature was. Even after burning it for a while inside a locked building it didn't die the first time around. If Joshua hadn't kept its attention while we figured out another way to kill it then we might have all died." - Benno2yrPosted
The quality of the writig is really good. What is problematic is, that the author made the Mc so exceptional to the point that I see no chance of him having any long term alley and companions. They will fall so far behind that they wont be able to contribute after a few chapters. Thats very sad for an ptherwise good story.

No I haven’t read RRR before so I was not aware of this. Two helbards just struck be as quite odd and impractical. And since I didn’t know there were already a fair share of such comments in RRR I just commented on It. Anyway it’s your story so in the end its your decision to make him fight with whatever you want. I might have my comments about it but I hope they are not sean as offense since they are not intended this way.

Thanks for the chapter. But if this is original please think about dual wielding spears/… again. It realy will break emergine if you frame it as great without downsides. Because it has uncountable ones and is simply worse then just using on spear or a spear and a shield. Just because you give someone two weapons it doesn’t make them better. For example will his one handed spear be constantly sweapt aside by his enemys because even if they are way stronger one hand is still weaker then two and furthermore the leverage of the length of a spear also still exists….

There not all weapons can be wielded in two heands regardless of strenght. They might lose there moveability and also get in each others way. Take to helbards for example. Not only would you lose much range (you can‘t lunge with one hand) because of there length you woud also have them clash against each other constantly. This would be by far inferior to just one helbard.
