Regarding finishing other works: IMO, do what you need to in order to learn in the way that best suits you. web novels are different from normal books, who says they have to have an ending? However, in traditional books there are "mid novel" and "ending" stages sort of like chess or go/baduk/weichi (might have that last one wrong) that take a different approach and skills than the starting chapters, moves, etc. In any book, including web novels and even non-fiction, it is good to have some smaller circulations of these, whether spiraling on the central theme of eddying off to pull attention away from that theme for a bit to increase the suspense or probability of a surprise. When you're ready to explore those, it sounds like your readers are looking forward to it!
