also love the granpa raticate and i wouldn't even mind a side chapter just for him or maybe even a side story about his life. To break ones potentials limit through sheer grit and will of both the mind and heart isn't something everyone can do. Unlucky through out all of his life and born with a low potential that probably hung over his head through out all 411 years of his life, and even when he was in his death bed and had accepted that his death would soon come he still had the will to live and grit to keep struggling till his last breath.

Author, You better name that Old Raticate Master Splinter. I also better see 4 Teenage Pokemon Ninja Turtles.

I’m just saying I know he wants to stay low key about his abilities but if he had a serious conversation with professor oak which he could due to their relationship he would be able to acquire all the recourses he would ever need along with every mega stone humans have access to at this time. All it would require is him to let the professor access to his library and to see the island’s ability to improve and replicate!
