The routes in your pokeverse's Kanto are changed up, aren't they? I mean that makes sense since Kanto is much bigger and there are many more cities scattered all over it. Still, if Mikail ever mentioned that then I sure as heck do not remember. It definitely could have been mentioned, especially in the map chapter from somewhere closer to the beginning of the story, and I just forgot.
I, personally, dislike when the Main Character of a book has to hide their true identity, especially for long periods of time, so the impatience to go out on an adventure to the point where he has to do so is annoying to me. I mean I get it, Pokemon is awesome, he's big enough to be mistaken as someone old enough to adventure, and only people that know him personally or he tells know, but he can't become an official trainer without causing problems for himself legally later since if he became one now, he would have to completely falsify the documents needed to do so, which would cause legal trouble. not to mention that him needing to make a whole different identity to sell pokeballs he makes is unnecessary, he could just say that he was taught how to by the persona he was going to make, then say after training was finished, disappeared. Otherwise, I love the story.
