question ,why didn't Muhammad start mobilising his reserves given even if the assassination fails the empire will be in disarray and vulnerable to an attack, he could probably gain a major advance had he done that , given that he at least sort of knew what may happen even if vijay dint die since he (vijay) would not be able to mobilize his army at this time ?
While I do see why many are criticizing Vijay for still showing mercy to the Muslims, however it is not very easy to uproot Islam from the India. Islam has already permeated Indian Culture from decades and centuries of Muslim invasions and proselytization. The timing isn't right either since Vijay's primary focus is the Unification of India. Also, the amongst the many values of the Dharma is the tolerance of foreign faiths and it doesn't allow the killing of the innocent regardless of religion. The only feasible way Vijay could eradicate Islam in India is when he becomes the Absolute Monarch of the Indian Subcontinent and that will take time and money not to mention precise timing and effective mobilization of both military forces and civilian administration to leave no room for error. Anyways this would be his last chance to the Muslims, if they test his patience again then in this alternate timeline we will see the first ever thorough and bloody purge of Muslims
Also while it is true that two wrongs don’t make a right , it is important that the first their community also follows same and they need to be taught a lesson . Can you name a country any country where Islam has invaded and the civilization symbols of the country has remained . Consider Afghanistan . Persia, Pakistan , which were onlce growing centres of Buddhism , Hinduism , zororostaning , is there any major temples left there ?
