Uh, what's going on? I thought Edward wouldn't care for something like this. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he say once that he wouldn't care even if his whole empire was destroyed as long as his love ones were okay he would just start over. Getting emotional and not caring about the consequences is simply not his style, especially for just 100 million citizens out of the trillions that his empire has, thats just 0.01 percent or less of the population. I'm pretty sure he has willingly allowed/cause the death of far more people himself (the elf being the most recent example). Is his "emperor" title affecting his rational mind? Is his strong will power making him a basic moron protagonist? Well at least in my eyes he brought trouble for himself and his whole plane for literally zero reason. However since he has entertained me for 500 chapters I'll give him a second chance and see if he comes back to normal in the next 10 chapters before I consider dropping this novel that used to be amazing till now.
i hear a lot of criticism against the author for this chapter, correct if i'm wrong but edward said that he wouldn't wnat to implicat his empire in the undead war for and would show an edited version of it for his people. and the war is against a god so what would happens if a god which is a trash in the eyes of the empire manage to hit one up the arcane emperor who dissect gods.and also he's paranoid and pragmatic and always cross checking his actions, but that doesn't mean he's immune to failure as merlin had told him once that his journey will only start after the 11th tier. So what i want to say is it IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ALWAYS WIN even in novels. I advice alll of you to sit back buckle up and wait for the next chapters to clarify all this and who knows he might found his way to the tier 11 by meeting/fighting/observing this 'Guardians'.And thanks to the author for his wonderful work. ❤️ 😊
