tbh whatever Volk decides doesn't really matter in the long run, he still loses everything including most likely his life. Option 2 -guys like him don't do submission, sooner or later he will try to regain his position unless he gets re-trained like a mangy mutt that tried to bite his owner. Option 1 is suicidal since Tasha is a goddess and with or without Vics help if pushed far enough she will get stronger and defeat Volk as inherently she has more potential than a mortal (i'm excluding monsters like Scathach here and basing this on Vic saying she was holding herself back or sth along those lines), her revenge later won't be pretty for Volk.

Thanks for the chapters. I truly hope that volk realizes that option 1 is a no go. Even if he could kick Tasha out the country would not function the same without her. Option 2 is just the lesser of the 2 evils fke him. A guy like volk doesn’t do well with taking orders
