Part of me was expecting Ren to be so fast he kills the guy before the shield could activate. The other part of me is wishing this didn’t end on another cliffhanger

This has to stop, Ren cant have Kevin not knowing he is risking his live for him. Its not a smart option going forward. He needs to make up some kind of excuse "i saw your death and i changed it but it cost me a lot "

well, I don't know why but every day when author say's that there will be 2 chapter today and the second one is coming in a few. the next chapter comes tomorrow. is it because of time zone or literally the ch are coming tomorrow
