The MC kind of had it coming. She let them get away this for years. The smart thing to do instead of grandstand and deliver a supervillain speech would be to grab her family and leave. Then, in the dead of night, visit every single member while they were sleeping and deliver your punishment then. What kind of moron takes on the enemy in their own territory?
