I like the idea, but this first chapter was not really grabbing my attention. It felt like a data dump. You revealed a lot that would have been better kept to be revealed by characters or used in a flashback chapter. Also the number of times the character says to the god, “you know the cliche” makes it seem that our MC does not really care what is happening. If we are experiencing the world through him(MC), then this also means that we don’t care what’s happening. Really made me want to skip the first chapter.
