William is amazing, I love how he was Telling Rayven all the things he needs at the end, like he is in charge and coming up with the master plan. Canāt wait for the next chapter for us to see Skender and Angelicaās conversations. Hopefully some of our questions will be answered. Also, look at Rayven being the man, so happy he is making the changes but i like him brooding as well. But imagine the change that will happen for him after Angelica actually admits to him her feelings for him not just that she cares for him. His resolution with change dramatically I think, knowing he needs to protect the women who loves him.
Lucky Angelica to have a wise, protective and best brother in Williamšā¤ļøš„° It's funny how Will analyzed Rayven's actions - it's like he's doing it the readers behalfšThe questions and advices are so on point.Gotta love him!!! I think Will felt Rayven's sincerity. To Rayven, if you're sincere, Angelica will feel it, she'd rely on you and will learn to trust in youš thanks for the chap!š Fave part: When Rayven admits to Will, he likes Angelicaš„°
Trust is built on a day-to-day basis over a sustained period of time, I said at the end of last chapter. Williamās āinheritedā knowledge and wisdom concurs with mine. Rayven and Angelica need to spend time together and give each other time. Time to heal, to be comfortable around each other, to let their feelings come forward, to build trust. As urgent as the mating bond and the mark might be for her safety, I also said, she needs time. And I totally agree with her. For instance, talking about sci-fi romance, Iām not too big on the whole werewolvesā concept of fated mates because in my eyes, it renders the personal bond unreal, and I think that that is the most important part. Whatever else there might be, as much as I may welcome it is extra. Rayven and Angelica need to be two people who love each other for themselves before they come to that. Moreover, they wonāt be able to get there otherwise and the mating bond itself wouldnāt work if not like thatā¦ William really cracked me up. I love him so much. He gave him some serious X-rays in there, rudeness, bluntness and childishness, add selfishness and we got the whole pack. And he offered some good advice. He should be patient and she, as her own husband told her earlier, should express her feelings and worries and should feel free to reciprocate to that. I relished on nervous Lord Rayven seeking advice and approval, stating his newfound good intentions, accepting he was wrong. William canāt believe the man and says, no wonder his sister looks like a ghost. But it is so much more (and crazy me I wrote about it a whole different post). āPlease take care of herā. I had waiting for this, but the time hadnāt come. As smart, wise, determined and dedicated as he is he knows he needs to get a hold of all the information possible. He cares so much for his sister and now that his ability gives him the possibility of actually helping her, heās on full protector mode. Canāt wait for him to meet Lucrezia and for Skenderās and Angelicaās conversation that has finally come. Oh, Iām so excited! I canāt wait for more ššššššš
William knows his sister and he has seen a lot, but he also doesnāt truly know what she has been through ever since she arrived. I hope the shock of seeing Rayvenās smile, and new self would have been only the one she got but it is not, thereās plenty more. First, she thought he was repulsed, then she found out he was not. A whole wave of desire shook her that longed for kisses and more. His confession was a tsunami stirring unknown emotions that gave her back her sense of innocence while wanting to be innocent no more. Then came the pain and the hurt. A broken man. A man who felt unworthy of happiness and of her. Further confessions began. And how painful they were, a long sleepless night. His life and hers on the rim of the balcony at dawn. Words of feelings yet unknown made their way to her mouth. When the stakes are life and death, truth finds its way out. Rivers were poured, a heart was found. An 180Āŗ turn, a breaking point it was. Intimacy found its way in the form of a shared bed and a bath. A bed was shared again and from it rose a romantic man, a man so unexpected and surprising that he shone almost too bright, a man who wanted to be a husband for his wife. A man who finally found the truth to a question he never cared or dared to ask. A man that still held however many doubts regarding himself, his dark thoughts, his desire to die. But a man who knew that no matter how much it frightened him, she needed to know about who and what he was. Constantine came and so revelations began. Her nightmares came forward as well as what he was. A memory of abuse at the hands of shades crept its way in, her unconscious mind brought a dream about fangs, and all in all was just too much. Now there is a whole new dimension to reality, to her husband, to herself. There are other creatures and enemies out there who are a danger to her brother and to her. Add this newfound fear to the also recently found one of losing her self-harming and prone to suicide 1000-year-old with a very dark past husband and you get a ghost looking sister and wife. Sheās been on emotional overdrive since her father died. I have made my calculations correctly, this night is the 6th night after the wedding, and itās been a fortnight since she arrived. It is no wonder that she isnāt well, more than the food that sheās skipped for some days, it is her emotional condition that has taken a toll on her. No body, no matter how healthy can take that incredible amount of stress. She really does need to rest and Rayven has to take charge of things and take care of her.
Angel and Will talking out with each other is just what was needed. Will always has great advice. I wonder what he is searching for in his home? Hopefully Rayven and Skender don't run into trouble. š¬ I too want to know more about these shades. Will Lucrezia answer all of Will's question if she meets him? I can't wait for that conversation to come up. š Thanks for the chapter Jazzy!
