I get so excited when I see my favorite book pop up with a new chapter. I could read it all day into the night 🌙 I'm sure in the end Rayven will not want to kill himself anymore. I hope he was sincere now so poor Angelica can rest. I hope she will love him that will secure Rayvens feelings. can't wait for more! thankyou Jasmine josef.
Nice to read Will's pov, but I wonder if he's dreaming of Lucrezia or the shades? Aw I wish Angel and Will can be together again soon. 🥺 I hope our Angel gives Rayven a good scolding for making her worry. He knows Angel cares about him. I loved that Rayven assured her that he will never leave. Angel and Rayven are too cute. 🥰
Scenes from a marriage. Rayven has begun to call Angelica his wife and has, in such a short time, begun to behave like a man in love and a loving husband who now tells her that is ok for her to act as a wife. To be worried, to be angry, to let it all out. Ever since he crossed that threshold, he has progressed so incredibly much. I think it is fair to say love works miracles, for this sure is one. My heart breaks for her, she’s gone through so much. But I think he is certain now. He isn’t over his fears and his darkness but every step, every painful realization brings him closer to her. Her pain hurts him deeply and there is a growing need that now fills his heart: to compensate and sooth, to heal, care and love, to protect and look after, to honor his vows. Focusing on her will help him overcome whatever traces of fear and doubt he has left. The process is and will be very beautiful to watch. As Lucrezia said when she went to see Angelica to find out what she was, what he sensed most from Will were his desire to protect his sister and his need for a parent. This is one of the reasons I like Skender so much. He’s very fatherly, even to the demons but specially to William who is in such a need of that... I believed both William and Angelica, wanted Angelica, among other reasons, to marry him for that. But life, or fate, or Lucrezia had different plans and those plans were right. Skender can still protect both of them while Angelica is with the right man, Rayven has found love, redemption and his heart and Skender will, with time, hopefully be able to have a second chance at love, something that with Angelica he wouldn’t have had. After some thinking, I’m almost certain William’s vision must be of the far future. The mating bond cannot be cheated or forced, so however threatening it looks to him now, I believe it is only as frightening as something a human, especially a young boy would have a hard time to understand. Could it be that the shades too mate that way? Many things are possible, only Jasmine knows, but I’m more inclined to think that several years from now our little William will become the fiercest warrior and the sharpest mind, a brave, kind, breathtaking young man able to sway and steal any lady demon’s heart or arch demon punisher at that. When I think about him, I can’t help to think about a young Jamie Fraser, fierce, magnificent, sweet, witty, though shy with his red hair and piercing blue eyes. And I really can’t wait to see that 💕💙😍💕💙😍. Thank you Jasmine for, yet again, gifting us with another great chapter 💗💗💗
I really hope Rayven sticks to his words this time because after saying this if she finds him wanting to leave, she will have a hard time ever trusting him 😢. I am so intrigued by William and I can see how his story is building. I am glad Jasmine decided to tell his story throughout all the books. Skender is his own character as well. I love that all characters are built nicely. Maybe his story is next from the way he is connected to them and is included a lot 😊
Lucrezia and William? 🤔 Or maybe another female archdemoness. An archdemoness and a male prophet, interesting possibilities with that type of mating. The power this could pose over the shades could be world changing. Maybe that's part of the mystery behind the shades need to destroy the prophetess/prophet? 🤯 Too much to consider now. Rayven and Angelica, another twist of emotions that need unraveling. He still needs to learn consideration for her fears and feelings, however she still lacks trust in him. Until she can be fully open and honest their journey has many bumps ahead.
