This is why I said he should have waited a bit instead of going for first solution :D Not to mention wouldn't it make sense to break trough first so he is stronger and more accurate to make the brand and deal with consequences, and it wouldn't interfere with breakthrough. Overall, kinda weird that he would so eager to do potentially dangerous thing when they were not even in that much of an hurry.

All the problems Leonel has to resolve to this day are problems that himself created, if this will be the theme of this novel I will be going out on the future. Thanks for the chapter~
