Comments of chapter undefined of Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy

Just wanted to say this, as I'm sure that this is a major plot hole in the authors story....But, ummmm when he got pricked on his RIGHT LEG with the poisoned sword in the northern desert and chopped of his LEFT ARM, up to the shoulder I believe it was written,.....um how would he still have his connection to Pearl? Wouldn't it be gone like he had feared, when 'Black Venom' sliced of part of his left arm? If so, how is he able to store Pearl? much less show them a stumpy left arm? Much less be able to command Pearl as equals now? Furthermore, did he even really chop off ANY part of his body to SLOW the POISON? I mean if anything he should've chopped off his RIGHT LEG, but he's walking just fine. So my question is this...was the scenes/chapters, in the northern desert, initially written one way, but never edited, and now there's this dissonance between what was written between chapters 550(ish) to 580 (and possibly further depending on how you write in the use of his left arm that should no longer exist until he heals himself)?
