this makes no sense. no fking sense then what is the purpose of the game? ??? ? ? why give us his perspective if now he is married on the "real" world and now we have a new mc? ? ? if this was the plan from the start you might as well make this a original cultivation only story with no game stuff, because that is what it's going to feel like from now on it makes it feel like everything until now was meaningless, and there was no point in even existing. what a let down

I don’t know what to feel about this twist. Some part of me likes that is not same kind of plot like other story’s, but a other side of me finds it disappointing how one world is just thrown away.

Yeah, it might be confusing but this is supposed to happen. Even if the cultivation world 'alex' just waited for a few decades, mortals and cultivators have different lifespans. What will happen if the real body died of old age? There has to be a plan for that. Thus the split soul. Also the reason why you only have a talented body in your first life. You probably can only have you soul split the first time. The second life will be a hollow body thus no talent whatsoever. Also, it makes sense EC is disconnected so the split souls can live their own lives, and also treasure their own lives more because its not just a game for them anymore. Welp, i'm not sticking around until Ma rong gets revived due to the yin qi nourishing her soul.

Does this mean Hannah and other players also have clones continuing their life in the “game”?

This whole plot twist with the soul thing I love. Since the original Alex was essentially controlling a brand new body which copied his memories the foundation was laid down. Which in turn just kept working the moment he logged out or cultivated, nice. So once the original was gone the new Alex made his own memories and was dormant when the original came back. Kinda like having split personalities.

Well this is surely one interesting twist

Let me think ok so a higher being created clones that like were first tested with human being in a "video game fashion" If I had to guess in the 5th continent. The only question is why did they want to create millions of clones soldiers for an army, to revitalize maybe an energy of something, but if it's for a war what would you need millions of new people for?
