So the ones with most access to the factory are members of the big families, but they should already be involved with this project and wouldn’t have reason to steal it. Maybe another big family who isn’t involved with the factory is trying to steal the prototype? Maybe the same one involved with the mana beasts in the slums? Seems like a reach but excited to see what happens.

If I was Khan I'd start suspecting the workers that have access to formulas, materials etc like the solder we just saw. As a reader I immediately suspect it to be connected to one of the other wealthy kids in the group. Especially Monica, she is too close to Khan now to be nothing 🧐
