I’m surprised that one hero and two specialists would be willing to potentially go up against 2-3 heroes and a demon. I wonder if they have some other reinforcements or other reason to feel confident.

One issue is that most people would probably agree that in our world you should treat everyone equally, not discriminate, and all lives should be equal. But it’s harder to say in this world where some people are literally better than others, having far more power and ability to protect others. Sure, Nick would probably argue that since these people are protecting others with their power then they are wasting their power and don’t deserve it, but realistically their power is acting as a deterrent to powerful forces outside the city.

The issue with his form of morality is this. Nick has already decided that he will someday achieve his goals and make everyone’s lives better, so now he can kill anyone he wants to accomplish that goal. In a way he is pretending that he has already saved millions of people and therefore can doom many others.
