I love seeing Khan's caring nature as well. Shows really good character development and we get to see his destructive, battle hungry side mixed in with his more normal caring for the people he cares about side.

I feel like everything is going to build to khan eventually ending up with martha. the timing never lines up for them. until it will. she's the only one who truly understands and accepts him, and she has the drive and motivation to folllw him
