Having unexpected repeated failures to release chapters sucks a lot. If it was any other job, Eve wouldve definitely been fired for failure to meet deadlines. The only difference is it’s a novel. It’s important to rest but tbh every time he has delayed releases he has said its because he has been partying with friends and having a social life. It sounds like he may be going overboard with drinking or partying too hard or something. He should work on better time management skills if he cant find an appropriate work-life balance. social life is important but failing to perform at your job in any other setting would be grounds for termination and getting sacked. If i could, i’d send Eve to some sort of online seminar about time management skills so he could fulfill his social life but also his work life. Even today we go without chapters again. No explanation for why either. This is after he said he was reducing weekend chapters so he can have even more social life. It just seems like he is getting his priorities out of wack a bit.
