Ehh he can brush the faster reactions time on his level as a 1st grade now, means he loses his secret level but possibly keeps the relationship a secret. He can also swing it to the GA that he realised saving or at least trying the ambassadors daughter would serve them well even if it resulted in his own death providing further justification to his actions other than 'we get down and dirty regularly'
