How did the niqols survive previous sunlights if their genetic code is so unstable? I mean there had to be a point at which they could go out in the sun. I can't imagine their entire species history involving raising offspring in caves. Also I can't remember if it was mentioned previously but does the niqols sunlight different from normal? Or is it Nitis that is different 🤔This chapter has a lot of deep questions both morally and historically. Good work 🤗

It's always amusing when kids suffer in novels because the chapter almost always becomes pity party and unavoidable trauma for Mc. Rarely Mc has mental composure to do what needs to be done without unnecessary torturing himself afterward with useless guilt.
