I don't think Martha's dead. Having her die in front of Khan would be more devastating (and so better character development). I think she'll come back injured, and then possibly die due to her injuries.
I don't want to look like the edgy kid, but if she was dead it would be nice Don't misunderstand me, it would be horrible for Khan, but in a way this novel would differentiate itself from the literal sea of 2 cents romance novels where MC meets a girl at the start of his journey and they obviously end up together
It isn't just wife or fridged, they could end up friends or possibly even have a nasty breakup and be bitter toward each other. I don't get why everyone is trying to kill Martha off. I personally like her character so far. That'd just be the last straw to turn him ruthless, and this novel into the typical YY, only one I can depend on is me, type of novel I can't stand. BOTDS narrowly walked that line for me, but I appreciated it. I really hope it doesn't go that way.
Hey Eveofchaos - I am not sure if others are having this problem, but I want to bring it to your attention. Every time I read new chapters that you publish, and then exit the novel, the next time that I reopen the novel, it doesn't ooen to where I left off, but rather to 1 or 2 to chapters earlier. Which doesn't matter for free chapters, but causes a problem now that you have gone premium. As an example, I had already read through chapter 76. But this morning when I logged on, both chapter 75 and 76 were locked, and I had to pay to unlock them.
