Simon had a rough childhood indeed; one cannot judge someone based on his or her demeanor alone on what a person's life shows or says to you. He was clearly unfairly treated by his whole family; but it seems he still has got someone on his side (their butler)? 🤔 I wonder how did Simon's family passed away; did it happened also in the massacre in Veteris or was it in another incident? How did he became a vampire? Will there be snippets of Ms. Dante's and Elder Castiel Marudas' love story, too coming in the future? 👀🙂 My heart hurts for Simon. 💔😢 If Mel would know all about this; I think she will begin to understand him more deeply.

Breaks my heart that he was tormented by his family as a child, it explains why he is the way he is though. Hopefully he can find his happily ever after like Rome did with Julie in Melanie.

Poor Simon. He had it rough as a little kid and I’m assuming it didn’t get any better. I hope happiness finds its way into his life. Especially with Melanie.

He really had a troubled childhood. How can some siblings be too cruel. Despicable. However, I wonder why he would hate his mom and dad enough to offer them rotten and dried flowers. We will know more in the coming chapters. I wanna see how Mel is gonna react to his past and sufferings. He might be finding his solace in her. He might confide completely into her. She might eventually become his safe haven, and vice-versa. What's gonna happen then? with her family and lineage of hunters. What about Connor? So many question worth waiting.

🥺🥺🥺 I’m in tears and so broken!!! My heart breaks for Simon!!! I can only imagine what other abuse he was dealt!!! Poor Simi was broken mentally and probably physically as well!!! It’s no wonder why Simon is the way he is!!! Being turned probably gave him that power where he feels he cannot be picked on anymore but it turned him into a physcopath! 😢💔😢 I also wonder why Simon has red hair while his siblings have black and blonde hair?
